Although British Columbia is one of the last regions to implement renewable windpower, it now represents one of the most dynamic market opportunities for windpower development in Canada and represents the majority of EarthFirst’s current windpower development pipeline. BC Hydro has stated its requirement for approximately 20,000 GWh per year of new domestic generated electricity over the next 20 years.
